Travelling with Children on Allegiant Airlines

Allegiant Airlines has some Children policy which everyone should be aware of before travelling with your children. Below is the information regarding children travelling policies.

• All the children between 15 days old and under the age of 2 years will not be charged if they are not occupying any extra seat. These children are known as Lap children.
• Identification document required: Birth certificate or any other proof of age
• Only one lap children are allowed per adult.
• An adult should be at least 15 years old.
• If you are travelling with more than 1 infant, then you have to purchase an extra seat for the second infant.

• Children who are 13 years old or younger must have their own seat.
• They should be accompanied by a passenger who is at least 15 years old.
• Identification document required: Birth certificate or any other age proof is strongly recommended.

• Children between the age group of 15 to 17 years must have their own seat.
• Identification document required: Birth certificate or any other age proof is strongly recommended.
• They can fly without an adult companion but will not be permitted on the flight with weather advisory.

• All passengers who are 18 years old or older must have their own seats.
• Identification document required: government-issued ID proof required.

Travellers under 14 years of age on the date of travel are considered as children. They must be accompanied by a passenger who should be at least 15 years old on the same reservations.

For children who are under 2 years of age on the date of travel, there are two flight booking options:

• As a lap child on the seat of an adult on the same reservations.
• As a ticketed traveller seated in an FAA-approved car seat.

When a customer enters the child's date of birth on the home page of Allegiant Airlines official site, you are offered with a choice of travel preference. Allegiant Airlines tends to provide safe travel to all passengers of every age and also recommends the passengers to purchase a flight ticket.

• While you are going on a trip with family and kids, Allegiant Airlines do not guarantee the availability of seats together.
• It is recommended to reserve seats at the time of flight bookings through the option of "manage travel" or during online or mobile check-in.
• Children seated in the car seats must be placed in a window seat and must not be placed on the aisle seat.

• Passengers can check strollers as checked baggage at a time of check-in.
• If the car seat or stroller is taken to the gate then it will be "gate-checked".
• No fee is charged for check-in one stroller per fare-paying traveller.
• Gate checked strollers will be packed in the cargo and will be delivered to the passenger during the destination arrival.
